Conclusion
A downloadable game for Windows
About:
A short walking sim in a strange, snowy world. You don't have a real objective, just take in the sights and pick up cosmetics and music tracks along the way.
Notice: I tried to make an updated build that fixes the softlock and improves transitions but tbh I made the game worse in doing so, I'll leave the project here as is, to avoid the softlock in the black crystal area (you'll know it when you're there), make sure not to return if you've left the area otherwise you'll be put under the map and fall forever :(

Credits:
Scripts: By me during jam, I did use audio/sensitivity scripts from previous jams and also had to reference how to make state machines but didn't actually reuse any past state machines.
Audio: Music by me during jam (band/artist names are made up in game if you couldn't tell lol), sfx by me during jam except one which is the fire sound effect from: Zen from Pixabay (I did crop the sound)
Visuals: Models by me during jam, both Blender and Blockbench were used, all Blockbench textures were made by me, the rest of the textures were from ambientCG (did have a custom shader on many of these textures as well). Skybox shader is from MinionsArt (I only used a small bit of the shader though, the real tutorial is far more in depth and well made, https://www.patreon.com/posts/shader-graph-39024186), font is from Google fonts: Press Start 2P Designed by CodeMan38
Tools used:
Unity
Aseprite
Fl Studio
Audacity (to crop and fade in sfx made in Fl Studio)
Blender
Blockbench
Gimp (for itch page, nothing in game)
Dev Notes:
This game definitely was my messiest project so far, I spent so long working on systems that I had to rush the actual game once I had all my systems, this did not work out too well but I still think the game is fairly good. I'd say the lesson to learn would be to work on less ambitious games, ideally with one core system that you can base the game around and then have all the time in the world to work on the game itself (until the deadline sneaks up on you o-o)

This game is so amazing!! The artstyle stands out so much, and is so so great!
It's crazy that you made so many different assets, and combined them in so many uniqe feeling ways in such a short time. Walking around this world is so fun, and collecting the sweet music or cosmetics is so cool!
My favorite area was the city area with all of the walkways and having to jump off of stuff. I really liked the sky whales also, they are great. I'm not super great at reading into stuff, but there are many great elements that make the environmental storytelling amazing!
Another favourite part is the area transitions bringing you into the 2nd person style view, the effects are so well done, and it's just so cool!
Super super great game all around!!
So beautifully atmospheric!
